Wales have potentially been dealt a double injury blow on the eve of the World Cup after key duo Leigh Halfpenny and Rhys Webb were stretchered off in the narrow victory over Italy.
Scrum half Webb suffered a suspected broken ankle, while full back Halfpenny, Wales' first-choice goal kicker, has damaged his right knee.
"They don't look too good at the moment, but we'll just have to wait and see," head coach Warren Gatland told reporters.
"You have to feel for them if they are ruled out. It's a massive blow for them and disappointing for us."
Webb was taken to hospital immediately, while Halfpenny will undergo a scan on Sunday.
