Wales captain Sam Warburton has been ruled out for "several months" due to a shoulder injury.
The 25-year-old suffered the problem on Saturday during his country's 51-3 win over Scotland in the Six Nations.
Warburton, who plays his club rugby for Cardiff Blues, will now undergo surgery before a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
"Following MRI scans and consultations with specialists, Warburton will have an operation and is expected to miss several months of action," read a statement on the Blues' official website.
Warburton's injury means that he will miss Wales's summer tour of South Africa.
