Live commentary of the Rugby World Cup semi-final between Wales and France.

Welcome to Sports Mole's live coverage of this Rugby World Cup semi-final clash between Wales and France. Warren Gatland has relied on the Welsh youth so far this tournament and his gamble has paid off. Young players such as captain Sam Warburton, winger George North and number eight Toby Faletau have impressed critics and devastated opposition.

France, meanwhile, have been surrounded by criticism from both the press and fans. Marc Lievremont's selection choices may not have served France well in the pool stage, but last weekend something clicked and Les Bleus dispatched England with relative ease. This is Wales's first semi-final since the inaugural tournament in 1987 and they go into this match as favourites. France, however, should never be underestimated.

38min: Wales on the pick and drive, edging closer to the French line. It goes back to Hook for a drop goal but the number 10 hoofs it low and short.

40min: HALF-TIME. How quickly the complexion of a match can change. Wales have lost two of their best players to injury and a questionable red card. Adam Jones is being sorely missed in the scrum, and Sam Warburton's presence at the breakdown was one of Wales's biggest assets. France look like they're biding their time.

40min: SECOND HALF UNDERWAY. It will be a huge task for Wales if they are to squeeze out a win. Fitness and keeping their cool in defence will be key.
