Scott Baldwin has praised his Wales teammates for remaining composed and seeing the job through against Fiji.
The Red Dragons found life tough in Thursday evening's Pool A clash, but they did enough to come out on top 23-13 at the Millennium Stadium.
Victory for Wales leaves them in a strong position to progress into the knockout stages, although there was to be no bonus point against a resilient Fiji side.
Baldwin was simply happy to get the four points on the board, however, telling Sports Mole: "I think we did probably leave a couple of tries out there.
"But after coming through such a physical game on Saturday, and an even more physical game today, we had to show real character and composure when we entered those final 10 minutes.
"Had Gareth Davies's try been given late on then we may have had it in us to push on in those final four minutes or so, but we are more than happy and looking forward to Australia now."
Wales will seal their place in the last eight of the competition should England fall to defeat at home to Australia on Saturday night.
