Rory Best has said that Ireland want to end their run of three defeats against Wales this afternoon.
The two sides meet in the opening fixture of this season's Six Nations tournament at the Millennium Stadium.
The hooker told BBC Sport: "When you lose to a team you double your effort to make sure you don't lose the next time you play each other.
"We've been on the wrong side of the results in the last three games and we badly want to put the record straight.
"Wales probably feel they have bit of a number on us, but we won the previous two games before losing three. It hasn't got nasty, but we're not happy with our recent record."
The game is due to get underway at 1.30pm.
