Sir Ben Ainslie believes that winning the 2017 America's Cup with a British team for the first time would be a "massive" achievement.
The 37-year-old will lead an all-British team three years from now, following his success with Oracle Team USA, who came back from 8-1 down to beat Emirates Team New Zealand 9-8 in San Francisco in 2013.
According to The Guardian, when asked if the standard is higher than ever, Ainslie said: "I'd say so, yes. It's been a long time since we've seen six teams this strong. For us in Britain, to bring the America's Cup home would be a massive thing for this team and this country."
Artemis Racing, Emirates New Zealand, Luna Rossa Challenge and Team France are among the teams trying to earn their place to fight against Oracle in 2017.
