Six-time world champion Steve Davis has qualified for next month's UK Championships, where he will take on Ronnie O'Sullivan.
The 54-year-old secured his meeting with O'Sullivan by defeating world number 18 Andrew Higginson 6-2 in the final qualifying round earlier today.
Wordsley-born O'Sullivan has won the world title on three occasions.
Fellow former world champion Stephen Hendry also ensured his participation in York after he beat Gerard Greene.
He will now face world number nine Stephen Maguire.
