Scottish squash player Alan Clyne believes that he is in with a chance of competing at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Queensland, Australia.

The next major Team Scotland event will be the Gold Coast Games as there is no squash programme at the Rio 2016 Olympics, and Clyne is determined to feature in his third Commonwealths.

"I don't feel like Gold Coast is out of reach," The Inverness Courier quotes Clyne as saying. "A lot of players at the top of the game are in their mid-30s - Nick Matthew won the Commonwealth Games title at 34. I can keep going on."

Clyne is currently preparing for the Tournament of Champions, which will be held in New York City next month.
