Team England's Oliver Hynd has insisted that he is not feeling any extra pressure as he prepares to fight for Commonwealth gold in the 200m individual medley SM8 final tonight.
The 19-year-old stormed to the wall in a comfortable time of 2:26.94 after heading into the heat as the fastest swimmer among the field.
"[I didn't] really [feel] any extra pressure," Hynd told Sports Mole. "I'd say the only pressure I felt was from myself because I wanted to come here and put a really good performance [in], so, I'm happy with that swim this morning. It's all looking good for tonight."
The teen won a Paralympic gold, silver and bronze in London 2012, and followed that up a year later by securing a double gold and bronze in the World Championships.
Glasgow 2014 has the biggest Para-sport programme in the history of the Games with 22 medal events.
