New Zealand's Sophie Pascoe has smashed the SM10 medley world record on her way to the gold medal.
Pascoe obliterated the field to retain her title, finishing over six seconds ahead of her nearest rival and more than three seconds quicker than the world record with 2:25.65.
Summer Ashley Mortimer from Canada took silver with 2:32.08, nearly two seconds clear of Zhang Meng of China, who posted 2:33.95.
Great Britain had two finalists in the 200m medley, but Harriet Lee and Gemma Almond could only finish seventh and eighth with 2:39.42 and 2:42.16 respectively.
