Great Britain's Rebecca Sherwin has qualified for the semi-finals of the 100m backstroke at the European Games.
Sherwin, who is the sole Team GB representative in the event, swam a time of 1:04.48 to finish second in her heat and 11th overall.
Russian Federation swimmers set the pace in the heats, with Mariia Kameneva (1:01.86) finishing first, ahead of teammate Polina Egorova (1:02.10).
Fifteen-year-old Sherwin helped Great Britain to bronze in the women's 4x100m medley relay final yesterday.
