Team GB duo Fran Halsall and Ellen Gandy have booked their places in the semi-final of the women's 100m butterfly at London 2012.
Halsall finished second in the fourth heat with a time of 58.23s, securing eighth place overall, while Gandy came ninth with a time of 58.25s in the fifth heat.
Dana Vollmer of the USA recorded the fastest time of the heats, finishing in 56.25s. Australia's Alicia Coutts came second with 57.36, followed by Sweden's Sarah Sjostrom with 57.45s.
The women's 100m butterfly semi-final takes place at 7.40pm this evening.
