Great Britain's Jonathan Fox has set a new world record in the men's 100m S7 backstroke.
The 21-year-old stormed down the length of the pool following a strong start and managed to maintain his lead in the first 50m.
The Brit comfortably edged ahead of his competitors following a swift turn on the home stretch and secured a time of 1:09.86.
Argentina's Guillermo Marro secured the second-best time of the heat with a 1:13.97, while Andrey Gladkov of Russia snatched the third spot.
