Great Britain's Heather Frederiksen has eased into the women's S8 backstroke final after cruising through her heat in just under the Paralympic record time.
The world-record holder booked her place in tonight's final with a time of 1:17.63 after launching ahead in the first length of the pool.
Frederiksen faced little pressure from her opponents after she stretched her lead following the turn to take the top spot in the lineup this evening.
Jessica Long from the US managed to win the other heat at the Aquatics Centre in a time of 1:21.75.
