Stirling University's high performance swim coach Steven Twigg has backed Scottish youngster Duncan Scott to become "extremely successful" ahead of the World Championships in Russia.
The 18-year-old, who won six medals at the European Games in Baku last month, is part of the Great Britain team for the meet, which gets underway in Kazan on Friday.
"He's very hard working, he's very modest and actually just loves swimming," BBC Sport quotes Twigg as saying. "He's got every possible chance of being extremely successful and he can go as far as he wants to in the sport."
Scott will compete in the 100m and 200m freestyle relays in Russia.
