Great Britain's Jack Burnell celebrated winning gold at the FINA Marathon World Cup in Mexico on Sunday.
The Brit completed the 10k open water race in one hour, 42 minutes and six seconds, beating Ecuador's Esteban Salgado and Italy's Simone Ruffini.
In a field of 70 swimmers, Dan Fogg, Caleb Hughes and Tom Allen made up the British contingent, and they finished seventh, 19th and 23rd respectively.
In the women's race, Keri-Anne Payne, who is Britain's former world champion, came 19th, while United States swimmer Haley Anderson took the title.
The event was the final qualification stage for the World Championships in Kazan, Russia.
