Bradly Sinden has earned a silver medal for Team GB in the men's -68kg taekwondo event at the Olympic Games in Tokyo.
The 22-year-old - ranked world number two in his weight category - lost out to teenager Ulugbek Rashitov of Uzbekistan by a score of 34-29 in a topsy-turvy final bout.
Sinden fought back from seven points down at the start of round two to hold a lead of 28-26 in the final 10 seconds, but Rashitov struck with a kick and a turning kick to the body to clinch the win at the last.
The result provides some consolation for the Team GB taekwondo team on a day that saw two-time reigning champion Jade Jones suffer a shock elimination at the first hurdle in her category.
Team USA's Anastasija Zolotic - aged just 18 - ended the day inheriting Jones's title in the -57kg category, defeating Tatiana Minina of the Russian athletes' team by a final scoreline of 25-17.
