Beaten Australian Open semi-finalist Tomas Berdych has admitted that the key points went the way of Stanislas Wawrinka in their clash on Rod Laver Arena on Thursday.
Wawrinka has gone through to his first Grand Slam final and Berdych said that he is unsure exactly where he could have improved on the day.
"The match was extremely even and so close, it's really hard to find what could have been the difference," he told reporters.
"It was a very good match, I played very well. I build the tactics and game plan on my strengths. The tie-break is always a lottery and he was the lucky one today."
Wawrinka will take on the winner of tomorrow's semi-final between Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer.
