Novak Djokovic has claimed that he is constantly improving following his fourth-round victory over Fabio Fognini at the Australian Open.
The defending champion cruised to a comfortable 6-3 6-0 6-2 win on Saturday to book his place in the quarter-finals of the Grand Slam.
"I've felt from the start of this tournament that I've been elevating my game as the tournament is going on," the ATP's official website quotes Djokovic as saying.
"Every match is better [with] the general feeling on the court, all the shots, using the court position really well, being aggressive and playing my style of the game.
"Mentally I was there. I was tough. I was focused. I feel great about myself in this moment. There is this confidence that I carry on obviously from many wins that I had in last two months of the 2013 season and I started off this season in a good style. I'm trying to keep it up."
Djokovic will now face either Stanislas Wawrinka or Tommy Robredo for a place in the last four.
