Wimbledon doubles champion Jonny Marray admits that he is unsure whether he will reform his partnership with Dane Freddie Nielsen.

Wimbledon doubles champion Jonny Marray has admitted that he is unsure whether he will reform his partnership with Dane Freddie Nielsen in London next year.

The duo picked up the doubles title in June, but it has been suggested that Nielsen will attempt to concentrate on his singles career.

Meanwhile, Marray will begin the season with American Dustin Brown in Doha before partnering Andre Sa in the Australian Open in January.

"Andre's daughter's birthday is in the first week of the year so he's coming out for either Auckland or Sydney, and then we'll also play at the Australian Open," Marray told Tennis Space.

"For the first one in Doha, I'm playing with Dustin Brown, who I played with at the start of last year. But I'm looking to play with Andre, hopefully with a view to playing together for the rest of the year."

When questioned on his partnership with Nielsen, he added: "It depends how things go. We both like playing on grass. After this year, it would be silly not to, almost.

"It depends how things go, you never know. Hopefully, I'd like to have done well with Andre and still be playing with the same person, week in, week out, but you never know.

"If things don't work out, I'm sure Freddie will definitely be playing that one - he won't be playing a different singles tournament that week, so, I think there is a possibility. We'll just have to see how it goes."

Marray has previously failed to advance past the first round of the Australian Open.
