Andy Murray has insisted that he has no issue with Marinko Matosevic, who caused controversy last year by criticising the British number one's decision to appoint Amelie Mauresmo as his coach.
Murray booked his spot in the third round of the Australian Open with a straight-sets victory over the 29-year-old, and he has dismissed suggestions of a dispute between the two after Matosevic questioned Mauresmo's role.
"I get on well with Marinko. I spoke to him a little bit about what he said. He didn't mean any harm. Everyone's entitled to their opinion on anything. If he wants to get coached by a man, that's absolutely fine," the sixth seed told reporters.
"I have absolutely no issue with it at all. I still think he's a good guy."
Murray takes on Joao Sousa in the third round on Friday.
