Maria Sharapova insists that there is plenty more to come from her game after beating Shuai Peng to reach the last eight of the Australian Open.
The 2008 champion earned two crucial breaks of serve in the first set to take a 6-3 victory and then hit her stride in the second as she romped to a 6-0 win to secure her place in the quarter-finals in Melbourne.
Sharapova told reporters: "I played solid. I don't think I did anything spectacular, but felt that I was consistent. I served smart at times.
"I returned quite well - I think that really helped me. I think I won the right points at the right time."
The number two seed will take on Canada's Eugenie Bouchard in the quarter-finals of the tournament.
