Third seed Simona Halep is through to the Australian Open third round after she swatted aside Jarmila Gajdosova.
The pair started their match at around midnight after Rafael Nadal took over four hours to win his match, but it didn't affect Halep in her 6-2 6-2 win.
The Romanian had too much power for the Australian in the first set, as she broke her serve early on and raced to a 6-2 lead.
With a home crowd behind her Gajdasova put up a greater fight in the second set, but she still couldn't stop Halep breaking her serve twice to set up a comfortable victory.
Halep will next face American Bethanie Mattek-Sands.
