Serena Williams has secured her place in the fourth round of the Australian Open with a straight-sets win over Daniela Hantuchova on Rod Laver Arena.
The world number one was forced to defend two break points early in the first set, but went on to break her opponent at 3-2 before taking the opener 6-3.
Williams broke at the first time of asking in the second set, only for the Slovakian to hit back shortly after to make it 3-3.
However, the American soon got into her stride and took all three of the remaining games to clinch the second set 6-3 and set up a fourth-round clash with either Sam Stosur or Ana Ivanovic.
