Tomas Berdych has taken just 67 minutes to book his place in the third round of the Cincinnati Masters, defeating Jarko Nieminen 6-3 6-2.
The Czech sixth seed will face the winner of Stanislas Wawrinka and Tommy Robredo in his next match.
A convincing 6-3 scoreline in the first set could not be disguised by troubles with his first set, as he managed just 50% inside the box.
However, Nieminen did not fare much better and was twice broken.
The second set was even worse for Berdych with the ball in his hand, as his percentage dropped to 26%. He still managed to win 12 of 17 points on his second serve to eventually seal his victory.
