John Isner has coasted into the quarter-finals of the Cincinnati Open with a straight-sets victory over Milos Raonic.
The American was involved in a pulsating opening set with his Canadian counterpart, emerging as a 7-6 winner after Raonic had fought from two games down to earn a tie-break.
The world number 22 then went on to book his place in the last-eight of the competition for the first time with a 6-4 win in the second set.
The 28-year-old will meet world number one Novak Djokovic in the next round of the tournament.
