Rafael Nadal paid tribute to his home crowd after Spain beat Argentina to win the Davis Cup.
The 25-year-old came from a set down to beat Juan Martin Del Potro and claim a fifth title for his country in Seville.
"Today is one of the most emotional days of my career," said Nadal. "After such a difficult year, this was a spectacular finale to the season. To win a final this way is very special.
"It was a very emotional match and I am happy for the team. It was the most amazing atmosphere I have ever played in. The crowd were crazy. Everything was perfect."
The victory ended a season in which Nadal claimed the French Open title.
