World number one Novak Djokovic has admitted that he is looking forward to facing Grigor Dimitrov in the third round at the French Open.
Bulgarian Dimitrov, who overcame France's Lucas Pouille 6-1 7-6 6-1 on Thursday, beat Djokovic 7-6 6-7 6-3 in round two of the Madrid Open earlier this month.
He also managed to take a set off Rafael Nadal in the quarter-finals of the Monte Carlo Masters in April.
"I think he's got more confident as he's getting big wins in the last few months," Djokovic told reporters. "He's a tough player now to beat.
"Even though maybe his style of game could be better on the hard court or faster surfaces, he's showing that he can play equally well on clay.
"It's going to be very physical. All the hard work that I put into preparations for this tournament hopefully will play to my advantage and will pay off on the court."
The winner of the match between Djokovic and Dimitrov will face either Victor Hanescu or Philipp Kohlschreiber in the last 16.
