Novak Djokovic has seen off Milos Raonic in straight sets to make it through to the French Open semi-finals.
The world number two will now face Latvian world number 17 Ernests Gulbis for a place in Sunday's final at Roland Garros.
There was little to separate the players during a tight opening set as Djokovic's power at the baseline competed with Raonic's powerful serving, but the Serbian found an elusive break late on to see it out 7-5.
Both men continued to hold serve in the second, only for Djokovic to break Raonic's resolve once again by clinching the tie-break 7-5.
With the Canadian tiring, the six-time Grand Slam champion was able to open up a commanding 4-0 lead in the third before finishing the contest 7-5 7-6(5) 6-4.
