Novak Djokovic has powered past Gilles Muller in the second round to keep his French Open title hopes alive.
The world number one, who has never triumphed at this Grand Slam event, prevailed 6-1 6-4 6-4 at Roland Garros to set up a meeting with Thanasi Kokkinakis.
Two breaks of serve in a one-sided opening set put Djokovic on his way, while he also held throughout the second to ease past his opponent in double-quick time.
Muller did break the two-time finalist in the final set, but that did little to stop the Serbian who quickly recovered to see out the contest with ease.
Djokovic, who also beat Muller at the Australian Open earlier this year, is now 24 matches without defeat.
