Simona Halep has booked her place in round two of the French Open with a comfortable straight-sets win over Alisa Kleybanova.
The Romanian, who is seeded fourth in Paris, was dominant during the opening set as three breaks of serve saw her brush aside the Russian 6-0.
Kleybanova put up more resistance during the second, but it did not stop Halep closing out the match 6-2 with just 57 minutes on the clock.
Halep will now face Britain's Heather Watson for a spot in the third round of the tournament.
