Petra Kvitova has booked her place in the last 32 of the French Open after registering a straight-sets triumph over Hsieh Su-Wei.
The two-time Wimbledon champion has endured a relatively disappointing start to 2016 but she showed signs of a return to form with a routine 6-4 6-1 win over the world number 80.
Kvitova broke serve on two occasions on the way to taking the opening set, and it was one-way traffic in the second as Hsieh struggled behind her second delivery.
She managed to avoid a bagel set but Kvitova soon made sure of victory to set up a third-round showdown with Shelby Rogers.
