Agnieszka Radwanska has got her French Open campaign off to a strong start by easing past Bojana Jovanovski in straight sets on Monday.
The second seed, whose best finish at Roland Garros is the quarter-finals, completed a 6-0 6-2 triumph in just over an hour in Paris.
Jovanovski was immediately put on the back foot as she lost her opening service game in the first set, and even though she pushed Radwanska to break point, the 24-year-old was unable to convert it.
The 2012 Wimbledon finalist broke serve two further times to take a one-set lead without conceding a game, and she carried her momentum into the second as she went a break up at the first time of asking.
Jovanovski got two games on the board, but it was comfortable for Radwanska as she wrapped up the second set in 35 minutes.
