Milos Raonic moved into the second round of the French Open this afternoon thanks to a 6-3 7-6 6-2 victory over Nick Kyrgios.
World number nine Raonic started brightly on the clay and required just one break of his Australian opponent's serve to claim the opening set.
The next set was much more evenly contested, with Kyrgios forcing a tie-breaker. However, it was dominated by Raonic, who won through 7-1 to open up a two-set lead.
The third set proved to be relatively straightforward for the Canadian as he broke on three separate occasions to book his place in the next round.
He will take on either Jiri Vesely or Lukas Rosol for a spot in round three.
