Milos Raonic has booked his spot in the third round of the French Open courtesy of a 7-5 3-6 7-6 6-2 victory over Michael Llodra on Wednesday.
It was Raonic that secured the first break of serve, but his French opponent broke back at 4-3 to level the scores in a tight opening set. The Canadian rallied once more, however, breaking at 5-5 before serving for the first set.
The second set was shaded by Llodra, however, with the Frenchman breaking at 3-4 before levelling the match at one set all.
The third entered a tie-break, with Raonic moving into the lead in the match courtesy of a 7-3 score.
The fourth was more straightforward, however, with the Canadian breaking twice in quick succession before serving for a spot in the next round.
