Jo Wilfried-Tsonga has eased into the third round of the French Open by claiming a straight-sets win over Jurgen Melzer.
The 13th seed romped through the opening set 6-2 inside half an hour before seeing off the Austrian 6-3 in the second.
The Frenchman, who reached the semi-finals of last year's tournament, then broke his opponent twice in the third to seal the triumph 6-2 6-3 6-4.
Tsonga's reward for defeating Melzer is a third-round clash with either Polish 22nd seed Jerzy Janowicz or Finland's Jarkko Nieminen.
