Heather Watson has sealed a place in round two of the French Open thanks to a straight-sets victory over Mathilde Johansson.
Both players struggled to hold serve during a cagey opening set, but it was the Brit who eventually took it 6-4 to land the first blow.
French wildcard Johansson had the chance to serve for the second set at 5-4, only for Watson to break back before winning 6-4 7-5.
Watson will now face either Sloane Stephens or Venus Williams for a berth in the third round.
