Serena Williams has booked her place in the final of the French Open with a comfortable 6-0 6-1 victory over Sara Errani.
The US pro had a strong start to the contest by relying on her trademark strength across the clay court to take an early break of serve.
After putting Errani on the backfoot, Williams was able to maintain her dominance to take a one-set lead without any reply from her opponent.
The second set was much of the same for the world number one, who once again grabbed an early break to push on and hold her serve, leaving Errani with plenty to do.
Errani was able to get one game on the board, but it wasn't enough to launch a comeback against Williams, who will take on Maria Sharapova in the final.
