Indian world number 302 Vishnu Vardhan has been named as the replacement for Germany's Philipp Kohlschreiber in the men's Olympic singles.
Kohlschreiber had been forced to pull out of the Games on Saturday night with a foot injury.
The 25-year-old will now take his place and play Slovenia's Blaz Kavcic later today.
Vardhan will also team up with Leander Paes for the men's doubles in London.
