Kevin Anderson battled from a set down to move into the last-16 stage of the Indian Wells Masters with a 6-4 6-3 victory over Evgeny Donskoy this morning.
The South African suffered two breaks of serve in the opening five games en route to a 6-4 first-set defeat.
The world number 18 hit back in superb fashion, inflicting three breaks of serve before sealing a 6-0 win to level up the encounter.
Nothing could separate the pair during the opening four games of the decider, with both recording two games apiece. However, Anderson soon opened up a 5-2 lead in the final set before holding his nerve to serve out a 6-3 win and book his place in the next round.
