Novak Djokovic has beaten Alejandro Gonzalez in their third-round match in the Indian Wells Masters 6-1 3-6 6-1.
The Serb was dominant in the first set, breaking his opponent at the first opportunity and then holding serve to open up a 3-0 lead.
He then broke Gonzalez again and soon wrapped up a 6-1 success. However, the unseeded Spaniard fought back in the second, eventually serving out the set 6-3 after breaking Djokovic for the first time in the match.
Nevertheless, Djokovic was able to rediscover his top form in what proved to be the third and final set.
Another early break of serve set him on his way, and he booked a fourth-round match against Marin Cilic with his first match point.
