Novak Djokovic has sealed a place in the semi-finals at the Indian Wells Masters, taking just over an hour to beat Julien Benneteau 6-1 6-3 this evening.
The Serbian was a break up after just three games as his opponent struggled to find his rhythm on serve in the first set.
Benneteau failed to threaten the world number one with his returns, as Djokovic wrapped up the opener without facing a break point.
The former world number one looked shaky at the start of the second, making three double faults, but he was able to recover.
The Frenchman provided more resistance at the start of the second set, but appeared to tire as he was forced to face a series of break points, eventually allowing Djokovic to edge ahead before the second seed wrapped up the match.
Djokovic will face either John Isner or Ernests Gulbis for a place in the final.
