Agnieszka Radwanska has beaten Simona Halep 6-3 6-4 to progress to the final of the BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells.
Both players traded breaks of serve in the early stages of the first set, but it was Radwanska who was forced to survive more pressure from Romanian opponent before claiming a second break to see out the opener.
Despite not looking in full control during her own service games, Radwanska seemed to be one step ahead of Halep as the sixth seed struggled for fluency.
After being broken twice, Halep was put under pressure at 5-3 and twice saved match point to extend the length of the contest.
However, Radwanska refused to let off and dominated the ninth game of the second set to claim a 6-4 win on her way to a spot in the final.
