Andy Murray needed three sets to beat Germany's Philipp Kohlschreiber in this afternoon's BNP Paribas Open clash to reach the last 16 at Indian Wells.
The Brit won the opening set comfortably, but the 26th seed hit back hard in the second as he earned several break points.
Murray cracked with a wild forehand on the fifth, and Kohlschreiber served out to level at one set all.
The fourth seed made no such mistakes in the third set, however, breaking his opponent twice to wrap up a 6-1 3-6 6-1 victory.
Murray will play Adrian Mannarino in the fourth round, the Frenchman having dispatched Ernests Gulbis 6-4 6-4.
