Andy Murray has progressed to the quarter-finals of the BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells thanks to a 6-3 6-3 victory over Adrian Mannarino.
Mannarino took the lead in the first set when he broke Murray's serve in game five, but the British number one broke back immediately, and then again in game eight to win the first set.
Murray had four chances to break Mannarino's serve at the start of the second set, but the Frenchman hung on.
It took until game five for Murray to eventually break in the second set, doing so to love, and he went on to clinch the victory in straight sets with his second match point.
He will play 12th seed Feliciano Lopez, who defeated Kei Nishikori in straight sets.
