Tomas Berdych has progressed through to the BNP Paribas Open quarter-finals by defeating Lukas Rosol 6-2 4-6 6-4 at Indian Wells.
Berdych dominated the first set, breaking in game four and game eight to take the opener.
Both players traded breaks at the start of the second set, but Rosol broke again in game seven to take the match to a decider.
The world number nine booked his place in the next round, breaking in the final game to set up a likely quarter-final tie against Roger Federer, who plays world number 58 Jack Sock later tonight.
