Stanislas Wawrinka has escaped an upset against qualifier Wayne Odesnik to progress through to round three of the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells.
Odesnik started strongly against the 18th seed and he was rewarded for his efforts by winning the first set 6-3.
However, Wawrinka fought back in the second and levelled the contest with a comfortable 6-2 triumph.
The Swiss then completed the turnaround by taking the third set 6-1 thanks to two service breaks.
