Roger Federer became just the seventh man in the Open era to reach 800 match wins when he beat Juan Monaco in Paris this week.
The world number four beat the Argentinian in straight sets to progress to the semi-final of the Masters competition and reach another landmark in his career.
The 30-year-old joins Jimmy Connors, Ivan Lendl, Guillermo Vilas, John McEnroe, Stefan Edberg and Andrea Agassi.
"I knew coming in that it could be my 800th win," he told Sky Sports News. "I heard the stats flying about.
"It's nice to make it on the 11th of the 11th (November 11) 2011. It's maybe something I can remember one day.
"It was a battle and I'm happy to get to that magical number."
Federer is scheduled to meet Tomas Berdych of the Czech Republic in the next round.
