Marko Djokovic has admitted that being the brother of the world number one comes with a lot of added pressure.
The Serb was beaten 6-3 6-2 in the first round of the Dubai Tennis Championships by Andrey Golubev on Monday.
Djokovic believes that his name means that players try harder against him, but has said that his brother is a positive influence on his career.
"A brother like that is a privilege," said Djokovic. "He's helping me a lot. He knows a lot about tennis, and he's trying to push me to go more and more, to improve, to not make mistakes that he made in that stage of his life.
"There have been a lot of positive and negative things being his brother. It's a lot positive. Financially I have all the needs and I can get all the coaches and all the practice.
"But negative things, there is a lot of pressure. Everybody expects, which is really tough to achieve. But I'm trying. I'm doing my best."
The 20-year-old has recently returned from a ten-month layoff due to a wrist injury.
