Venus Williams has booked her place in the final of the Wuhan Open courtesy of a deciding-set tie-break victory over 15th seed Roberta Vinci.
Williams, who yesterday beat Great Britain's Johanna Konta in three sets, saved a match point on her way to a 5-7 6-2 7-6(4) victory against Vinci.
The 35-year-old will face Garbine Muguruza in tomorrow's final after the Spaniard saw off Germany's Angelique Kerber 6-4 7-6(5).
If Williams wins, it will be just her fourth title in six years.
